Hadrian hails from France, and threw down one kick ass freestyle. A tip on watching his freestyle, after the first trick… go back and re-watch it a few times. Seriously awesome stuff, so pay attention kids!

Krisztain threw down an amazing freestyle at EYYC. His style is so graceful and technical, but still has tons of stage present and really got the crowd into his freestyle. Amazing job Krisztain!

This weekend is the European Yo-Yo Contest in Prague. People from all over Europe as well as several guests from around the world will be getting together. Team CLYW members: Palli (Iceland), Sebastian (USA), Hadrien (France) and Krisztian (UK / Hungary) will be there representing.

I hope everyone there is having an absolutely amazing time. Word on the street is that it is Pat Cuartero’s 29th birthday today!! I’m sure Korda will be making sure that he’s having a birthday to remember.

Abe and JohnBot are also part of a side team of fun times, innovative tricks and shenanigans called Team Chubby Lovin’.  At Madfest they got together with two other Team Chubby Lovin’ members, Drew Tetz of the Duncan Crew and Seth Peterson of Save Deth, and made an amazingly fun video.  Check check check it out!!!





Ever since the release of Boyd’s signature yo-yo the Bear vs Man in 2007 he’s been bugging me to make a Team Chubby Lovin’ edition yo-yo. I think it’s time we start working on something with those cats.

Over the weekend was the East Japan Yo-Yo Contest where Ryosuke Iwasawa took 3rd place.  Congratulations!!!  Such an amazing freestyle, Ryosuke!!!  That tower laceration at the end was CRAZY!!!  Your tricks look so impossible. Check it out:

The Wisconsin State Yo-Yo contest was this weekend at a Juggling/Yo-Yo festival called Madfest.  Competing from Team CLYW were Alex Berenguel, JohnBot and Abe.

Congratulations to Alex for coming in 1st with an amazing freestyle!!!!  Sooooo sick!!!  I believe he was also using his new signature yo-yo the Sasquatch and we’ve heard some really great things about it already.  Again, great work Alex!! So proud of you!!

If you have been following the history of the Campfire on our blog you would know that the name of this little pocket yo-yo ‘the Campfire’ was inspired by John Higby. So I really wanted to colaborate with John on a special edition run to thank him for this. Here is what John came up with: a brilliant design for the laser engraving as well as a small comic book about the character “Campfire the Yo-Yo Fire”. Amazing work John!! Thank you so much!!

This yo-yo will be limited to 25 pieces and will come with an accordion style comic book, retailing for $85US.

Hello There!!!

I just wanted to update you all on the new stock that was just added to the store this week.  We had an unfortunate mishap with our small bearing Bassalopes: they look beautiful, but they have vibe.  It’s not enough to notice during play (unless all you do is grinds, but still they do grind just fine).  We laser engraved these Fool’s Gold Bassalopes with a ‘b’ and a ‘o’ so that you could tell them apart from production runs.  Pick one up at the discounted price of $70US.
